Love of Scuba Diving—The largest percentage of
those who become PADI Professionals say that
they did so simply because they love scuba diving. PADI Dive masters
and Instructors are people who get turned on to scuba diving and
want to keep actively involved in it.
Opportunity to Teach—PADI Professionals
state their number two reason for becoming
a scuba dive
instructor or Dive master is because diving inspires them so
much that they can’t wait to pass it on. Realizing that diving
changed their lives for the better, PADI Scuba Instructors relive this
transformation process through their students every time they
teach scuba.
Lifestyle—People who become instructors
generally prefer active, healthy lifestyles. In addition to
scuba diving, most also swim, run, bicycle, ski, or participate in
fitness programs.
Self
Improvement—PADI Professionals rate
self improvement high on the list of reasons for
becoming an Scuba instructor.
Enjoy Outdoor Activities—PADI
Professionals demographic shows that people who teach diving also
love other water-related activities (swimming, waterskiing,
sailing, boating) and anything that gets them to the great
outdoors.

PADI DIVE MASTER $995.00
Begin your scuba dive
career with the first step –
You're
eligible to start your PADI Dive master training after after 20
logged dives and successfully completing the PADI Rescue Scuba Diver
course. Working closely with a PADI Scuba Instructor, you expand your
dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.
The most fulfilling part of the course is learning to supervise
scuba dive activities and assisting with scuba diver training.
PADI Dive masters are qualified to supervise and assist with
both training and non training scuba dive activities. Scuba Dive centres and
resorts around the world need PADI Dive masters to assist with
scuba dive classes and guide underwater tours. PADI Dive masters may
conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving experiences and Scuba
Review programs for certified divers. They may also conduct the
PADI Discover Snorkelling experience and the PADI Skin Diver
course, as well as qualify to teach the Digital Underwater
Photographer Specialty and Emergency First Response
courses.
The
PADI Dive master rating is where your adventure as a dive
professional begins. For those who decide that scuba diving can
be more than a recreational endeavour and are interested in
exploring the professional potential it may hold, acquiring the
PADI Dive master rating is an essential step in the process.
If there is a common
characteristic of what a dive master is, responsibility, is the
most accurate term. No single word so adequately defines what a
dive master is and how a dive master is perceived.
The dive master is
responsible for people, responsible for planning, responsible
for orientation, and at some time, responsible for nearly every
aspect of safe scuba diving. A world of adventure awaits all those who
wish to achieve the rating of Dive master.
There are several programs available for individuals to
undertake when considering their Dive master path, check
them out and come in and discuss the right one for you.
Books and PADI registration are
