To describe the scuba dive; it is difficult to find words, but the best one I can find is “phenomenal.” There is certainly a lot of ship to see. Just cruising around the outside, its sheer size makes it an awesome sight.

She is sitting bolt upright with 14- 16 meters of water over her forward deck and 18 meters over the stern deck. Depth on the sand varied between 25-27 metres of water. Viability has varied between 8 metres and  20 metres. water temp 19C, this will range up to approximately 24-26 in the summer. This is just a fantastic dive .

 A resident school of predatory yellow tailed king fish now ‘buzz’ the schools of bait fish that surround the HMAS Brisbane. Local inhabitants include a large bull ray, angler fish, lion fish, blennies, nudibranchs, sea hares, squid and a small school of juvenile snapper. Other visitors include a shovelled nose ray, greasy cod and eagle rays. An octopus has made a home in a pyrotechnic tube on the deck.
